The tangram is a dissection puzzle consisting of seven flat shapes, called tans, which are put together to form shapes. The objective of the puzzle is to form a specific shape (given only in outline or silhouette) using all seven pieces, which may not overlap.

FSC sought traffic marketing + design to create an invitation for a conference on the topic of sustainability on paper. It was a speaking engagement intended for graphic design, communications, marketing and paper & print procurement professionals who were interested in learning more about responsible forest management.

traffic designed the invite around the theme of shaping and changing our world. The idea of tangrams - a fun puzzle game made by arranging a series of paper shapes was incorporated into the design to convey those themes and to give the invite a second life, further exemplifying the creative and sustainable reuses of paper.
